WhyNot is a Danish – Canadian architectural office founded in 2025 by Oliver Pearson. Our studio prioritizes sustainable, functional, beautiful, and long-lasting buildings in the heart of a few niche typologies. We focus on the architecture in the agricultural, athletic, and residential industries.

With our why not approach, we start with the surroundings of the site, leaning into the beauty and influence around to form our ideas and relationship with site and clientele. We believe that spending time outside and being active in nature helps peoples health and quality of life. That’s why we focus on projects within agriculture, sports, and residential sectors.

Dialogue plays a huge role within our studio. WhyNot isn’t just our studio name, it is also our mantra and attitude. We believe all questions, concerns, and ideas can be answered with the phrase: why not. This mantra and belief bring us close to our clients, users, engineers, and craftsmen.

Architecture has a huge impact on society, and at WhyNot we don’t take that lightly. We strive for constructing buildings in unity with location, community, and the individual.
